We are planning a cruise in May 2011 on Disney Wonder. Some comments refer to a youth club named Oceaneer Quest and others refer to Edge. Are they the same thing or are they separate programs? The weblink for Oceaneer Quest gives a 404 error message.

    Hi, Stuart!

Congratulations on your upcoming cruise aboard the Disney Wonder -- I bet you and the kids are starting the official countdown now!

Edge is the ideal hangout and fun center for kids ages 11-13 aboard the Disney Wonder. Located midship on Deck 2, this lounge and interactive play space is set up with plush couches, high-tech entertainment  — video games, televisions and computers— and includes guided activities as well. Edge features several plasma-screen TVs for viewing Disney movies, too.

On the Disney Magic, Edge boasts a lifelike simulator with interactive buttons that lets kids — from the comfort of two captain's chairs — navigate a virtual ship in and out of various ports of call. An 8-paneled screen that displays the vessel's movement from all angles lets kids see just how well they're doing. This area was formerly referred to as Ocean Quest. Therefore, that may be the reason the two may get confused. I hope that helps clear things up for you.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
