We are planning a cruise for March 2010. Have booked the cruise but now want to add on a hotel stay before the cruise. What is a good and economical hotel? Any specials for March Sunday thru Thursday stay?

    Hi Lisa,

Walt Disney World has three classes of resort hotels:  Deluxe, Moderate, and Value.  Disney Value Resorts are the most economical.  There is Pop Century, All-Star Movies, All-Star Music, and All-Star Sport.  My favorite of the Values is Pop Century.  The rooms are nice and the food court is excellent!

If you need more room, or things like a fully-equipped kitchen or washer and dryer, then you should also consider a Deluxe Villa.  These are Disney Vacation Club (DVC) properties, but you do not have to be a DVC member to stay there.

You can get information on the latest specials here.

    Have a magical vacation!
