We are planning for the cruise on the Magic in June 2011 and my son will be 12 and a half and is worried that he will be grouped in with all of the little kids. Would it be possible for him to be with the teen group?

    Hi Elana,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Less than a year until your voyage, let the countdown begin!  I bet your son will be glad to hear that the Disney Magic has recently carved out some space uniquely for kids his age!  Ocean Quest is located on Deck 2 and offers activities and a place for guests aged 11-13...no little kids allowed!

If this still isn't going to quite cut it, you can address your concerns once onboard with the youth activities counselors.  They typically will assist parents on a case-by-case basis to ensure that your child is assigned to an appropriate group.

    I hope this helps!
