planning cruise for Feb-Apr 2016 4-6 night. is it better to get a cruise that has a sea day to enjoy all the ship has to offer? want to go to Nassau but also want to spend lots of time on board. what is best? 3 adults.

    Ahoy, Judy!
I'm excited to hear you're planning a spring voyage in 2016! While it may seem a long way off, you'll be amazed how quickly the time passes. Before you know it, you'll be stepping aboard a gorgeous Disney ship, ready to set sail with Captain Mickey!

Personally, I really enjoy sea days when sailing with Disney Cruise Line. You might be thinking, "Won't I be bored? What will I do all day?" There's SO much to see and do onboard, and it's awesome having a day or two to really explore the ship! Of course, you could choose to use your sea day to just chill and relax, which is equally as great. I like a mix of both, with plenty of time relaxing on the pool deck as well as some fun activities throughout the day. An at-sea day is also a great time to catch a movie onboard. Disney Cruise Line shows first-run movies and has plenty of showtimes to choose from. (Pass the popcorn, please!)

Each day, you'll receive a Personal Navigator - a daily schedule of all the ship's activities, with times and locations. On a sea day, the schedule will be packed full with games, trivia, seminars, character greetings and more. We like to bring along a set of colored highlighters so we can make note of all of our "can't miss" events! You can also download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App  - it puts all the fun of a Disney Cruise right at your fingertips. You'll be able to check the daily schedule of activities from your phone or iPad, so you won't miss any of the fun! The app is now available on all four Disney ships.

Once you choose your itinerary and sail dates, I hope you'll come back and visit us here at the Moms Panel if you have any questions. We're more than happy to help you plan a most magical Disney Cruise Line vacation! - Diane W.
