Ahoy there, Skylar! Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your vacation planning question! Blue skies and sunshine are guaranteed on your next Disney Cruise Line adventure, and I'm sure your young sailors are going to love exploring the ship, seeing their favorite Disney characters, and checking out all of the youth activities on board!
Skylar,
Disney's Oceaneer Club is a space reserved for children ages 3-10 only, so although your child is fully potty trained, he will not be able to
access this space outside of the scheduled Open House times. I know this might not be the answer you were hoping for, but I do encourage you to check out "it's a small world" nursery services, which are available for infants and toddlers up to age 3 for an additional fee. This is a great option for your son to have some playtime while you take time to explore the adults-only venues on the ship!
The other exciting news for your potty-trained son is that he'll be able to
splash and play in the pools onboard the cruise ship in between
character experiences,
deck parties, and all the soft-serve ice cream cones he can handle! I'm sure you're going to make many magical memories together at sea!
Skylar, I'm wishing you a magical sailing this spring; if you have any other questions before you set sail, feel free to cruise right back to
planDisney and let us know! We're always here to help you explore unchartered territory!
Sea you real soon,
Alison
