Planning a cruise on the Fantasy for June 2013 for our family of 5. Our travel agent has quoted us on two adjoining standard rooms and the delux fam oceanview with veranda. The difference in price is $750. Is it worth the money?

    Hi Anne!

I'm so excited that you're sailing on The Fantasy!  It's going to be an amazing trip and one you'll never forget!

I'm a regular mom with two children, therefore, always on a budget!  If it were me, I would save the $750 and use it towards your port excursions or amazing meals at the Adult Exclusive restaurants on board, Palo and Remy.  There is so much to choose from, and that extra money would be better spent, in my opinion, on amazing experiences rather than where you are sleeping.

My point is, you are really only in your room to sleep or to get ready for your day or evening out.  The standard rooms on the ship are very comfortable.  Two adjoining rooms would be even better since it means you'll have the use of two full bathrooms, AND more space to move around!  That's a HUGE luxury when you're travelling on a cruise ship.

I hope I've helped you; either way you choose to sail will be wonderful so don't stress to much about the decision.

    Happy travels!!!!
