Welcome to planDisney, Stephen! Thank you for dropping by with your Disney Cruise Line question. At planDisney, we are fellow guests with an enthusiasm for cruising with Mickey and the gang and we are happy to offer planning help whenever you call on us.
It sounds like next summer is going to be filled with adventure for your entire family! I know that I have really enjoyed cruising with my multigenerational sailing crew. With fun activities, delicious dining venues, and opportunities for relaxation, you'll find
something for everyone at every age to enjoy.
Stephen, I know that there are many guests of the Disney Cruise Line anxiously awaiting the reopening of the
"it's a small world" nursery! I'm sorry to tell you that I haven't yet received any word of an expected reopening date. What I do know is that the Disney Cruise Line is actively working to create the best cruising environment for their Guests and Crew Members. The
Updated Experiences page of the Disney Cruise Line website is being updated regularly and in the past month, we have seen many protocols return to pre-closure operations.
I'm wishing on a star that we'll hear an announcement that the "it's a small world" nursery! will be opening again soon. In the meantime, I'd recommend that you review the
Traveling with Little Ones guide on the Disney Cruise Line website. You'll see all of the wonderful accommodations that the Crew Members will offer to make your voyage with a little sailor in tow as happy and memorable as possible.
If your cruise itinerary will be including a stop at
Disney's Castaway Cay, be sure to visit the Spring-A-Leak water play area. It's the perfect spot for a toddler to splash and play to their heart's content.
I wish you and your entire sailing crew a very lovely voyage. Please return to planDisney if we can be of further assistance.
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
