Ahoy Nicole –
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. A cruise on the
Disney Dream is a fabulous way to escape the February weather! In fact this past February my pirate crew found ourselves having a “Dream”y vacation on warm beaches while friends and family at home were thawing out. Beaches in
Nassau and
Castaway Cay have cabanas available for purchase but let me warn you that they are a hot commodity! If your crew decides on
Atlantis Aquaventure at Nassau, they may be able to snag a cabana there. I looked and did not find a Disney Port Adventure to reserve the cabana, but you can do so directly on the Atlantis website
www.atlantisbahamas.com or in person when you arrive. At Castaway Cay there are family cabanas and adult only cabanas available. To request a cabana, after online check-in look under Port Adventures and search for cabanas at Castaway Cay. They are very, very, very popular and are available first come, first served when the online check-in reservation window opens. Remember that
Castaway Platinum and
Concierge guests will have first dibs on these gold nuggets because their reservation window opens
120 days prior to the cruise while
Castaway Gold opens
105 days prior,
Castaway Silver 90 days prior, and first time sailors with Disney Cruise Line can book
75 days prior. Even if you cannot get a cabana at one of your ports, please know that both beaches have plenty of shade, beach chairs and lounging space. Nicole, I hope this helps with your planning and if not, please come back to see us again!
