    We are planning a cruise on Disney Wonder in January 2016. My 4year old has food allergies and will need meals prepared accordingly. Does Disney Cruise Line accommodate this so he can partake in dining with the rest of the family?

    Wonderful news about your family going on a magical voyage next year. The year goes by quick, and you'll soon find yourself doing your final countdown for your vacation soon. Your whole crew will have such a great time!

    You'll be glad to hear that the dining team onboard takes the utmost care when planning for special dietary needs and preferences. The galley will even have a separate area to prepare certain meals to make sure that there is no cross contamination. Make sure that you've got the specific allergies noted on your reservation. You'll want to call the Disney Cruise Line Travel Desk directly to make sure that this special notice is reflected on your cruise reservation. Their phone number is 800-951-3532. Your dining team onboard will be advised of your preferences and instructions, and you can reconfirm all the details directly with your main server and the chef once you meet them on the first night. The chef will likely come out and also make sure that they've got everything covered for your little cruiser. 

    The Disney team will make every effort to accommodate special requests, just make sure you give them enough information and notice. Your child will surely enjoy dining with the rest of the family at the wonderful restaurants onboard. You'll also want to mention your child's allergies to the Youth Counselor's at the Oceaneer Club when you first meet them on embarkation day.
