Planning 1st cruise w/ DD. Wondering best time between March & May of 2011 ? And also best level to stay on while being economical and best ship for 4 day cruise? Thanx so much! We are excited about our 1st mother/daughter cruise!

    Hi Kelly,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  A mother-daughter cruise sounds like a fantastic idea, it's certainly an ideal way to make some wonderful memories together.

Personally, if I were given the choice of March, April or May - I would pick May.  March and April tend to be extremely popular due to school breaks, and waiting until May simply allows for the caribbean waters to warm up a bit more.

Now I'll let you in on my little "secret", I think I have found the very best of the most economical, inside staterooms.  They are located on deck 7 aft and are the category 11 inside staterooms.  I find these ideal because since they are close to the "fun" of deck 10 - and although they are inside staterooms there is a fantastic "secret" outdoor deck at the very rear of deck 7.  In my experience I have found that this deck is rarely used, and only steps from these staterooms.

Good luck with your planning, let me know if you have any other questions!
