Hello there Stephanie! We're excited you stopped by planDisney and we are all ears when it comes to road trips in my family. While we have never road-tripped in an RV, it is most certainly on the bucket list.
I think every visit to
Walt Disney World Resort should have a stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. Whether a well-deserved rest after a trip across the country or a flight in for a weekend celebration these resorts are waiting to create a magical stay. All of the resorts will have a section for oversized vehicle parking. I always recommend calling a week or two ahead and speaking with the front desk of the resort so they can properly accommodate your RV. If roughing it is your thing and after all, you have those accommodations on wheels, there is always
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. They are fully equipped campsites that offer 4 different options from tents to 45-foot RVs and larger. Maximum of 10 people per campsite.
The dates you indicated are during one of my favorite times of the year at the Disney Parks. Not only are the parks dressed in holiday decor, but the foodie in me cannot pass up the opportunity to tell you to keep your eyes peeled. Historically the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is going on. Those Global Marketplace food options are usually stocked with savory options and fantastic beverages to pair with those delectable dishes. If you decide to visit during that time here is a tip, bring a tray. Like a lunch tray so you can stack those plates and not have to perform a balancing act to get to your table.
I hope this information help makes your trip a great one. I wish you safe travels across our beautiful countryside. If you see Mater or Lightning McQueen on Route 66 tell them we all said hi from planDisney. Please visit us again if you have any other planning needs or advice for your next visit.
Have a magical day!
Jeremy A.
