Planning on Coronoado Springs this summer. At Pepper Market,it sounds confusing with the Dining Plan. Is it easy to use a Quick Service credit with the ticket I've heard get stamped? What about the 10% service charge added on? Included with DDP or extra?

    Hi Jennifer!

You'll have a lovely time at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort this summer! It's such a vibrant and beautiful resort property.

Pepper Market is a great Quick Service choice to consider using the Disney Dining Plan. With its multitude of menu options for all three meals of the day, you really can't go wrong with this choice! This dining location does indeed differ from other, typical Quick Service Dining locations. A host or hostess will seat you at your table upon arrival, you'll dine from china plates using real silverware (not plastic and paper) complete with cloth napkins. Cast Members also will refill your drinks, clear your table during your meal, and upon the completion of your dining experience. For these reasons, the 10% gratuity is added to the bill.

Now, under the Disney Dining Plan, that 10% gratuity can't automatically be given to your server, without you opting to add it on yourself. You'll want to bring along some small bills in cash in order to be able to suitably tip your server, on the table, at the end of your meal. Upon exiting the Pepper Market, the Cast Member who collects your card will affect your Disney Dining Plan accordingly. Under the Dining Plan, the gratuity is not mandatory however certainly recommended as a reflection of the additional service provided to you in this unique, dining location.

For guests who are dining paying cash, credit or room charge, the 10% gratuity is added to their bill at check out.

All three meals of the day at Pepper Market are now served 'a la carte.' To view the full menu listing prior to your arrival, I'd recommend that you visit allearsnet.com, a non-Disney 'fan site' which keeps detailed and up to date information.

I hope this information is helpful to you Jennifer!
