We were planning on coming to WDW for SW weekend, but my sons bday is 4/27. We are going to surprise him with DW through 5/5. I am assuming we may miss SWW, but does HS do anything for May the 4th? Are they continuing SW dining experiences on non SW wknd?

    Hi Bria,

Thanks so much for your question. Disney's Star Wars Weekends is such an amazing event. I can just imagine how much you'd love to bring your young padawan to celebrate his birthday during this special event. While the official dates of Star Wars Weekends 2015 have not been released, the event usually starts around the middle of May, which means you may miss it. Walt Disney World and Disney's Hollywood Studios are known for celebrating May the 4th in a magical fashion, but again, we haven't been given any official announcements of those festivities. We also haven't heard any official word on the continuation of the special Star Wars Weekends character dining experiences, but odds are that you just might be able to see some intergalactic awesomeness on May 4th.

I hope this answered your question, Bria. If you have any other questions while planning your Walt Disney World vacation, please feel free to ask us at any time. We're always here for you.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
