Summer from WA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are planning on coming in September for a several days but on September 5th 2 of us are doing the MS run in the park. This would be much earlier than when the park opens. Where can we park? Will a daily pass for parking work for this?

Hi there, Summer! Thanks for running by planDisney with your question. It sounds like you'll be participating with a charity during the runDisney Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend - how frightfully fun!

Each runDisney race weekend has its recommendations for parking, and it looks like the digital EXPO guide hasn't been released yet. However, during the most recent race weekends, participants were asked to park in the Toy Story parking area, which is much closer to the start line than the other Disneyland Resort Parking Structures. Daily parking rates apply, and you are welcome to leave your car there all day if you plan to head to the theme parks after your race! Be sure to keep an eye on the race event page for more information.

Summer, please remember that even though races start early, it can get really hot by the time you finish, depending on the distance. Light layers that you can discard are my personal recommendation to keep warm at the start. Also, be sure to link your PhotoPass photos from the race using your unique code (usually found on your bib or with your event Check-in Pass). It's the best way to capture all of those memories with the hauntingly fun characters you'll see on race day.

I hope this helps, Summer. Please let me know if you have any other questions - I am always happy to cheer you on!

    See ya real soon,
    Melissa
