I am planning on coming to the parks between Jan 31-Feb 4. One day in Disneyland, and the other in DCA. I've seen Disney blogs with lists of attraction closures and re-openings. Where can I find the official Disney list?

Hiya, Phillip, and thanks for stopping by planDisney! Your arrival day is just 10 days away – it’s time to get excited!

I know exactly what you’re looking for, and I’d love to help you navigate there, so let’s get started! First, head to Disneyland.com, then hover over “Parks & Tickets.” You’ll see two lists appear underneath this section, the left side is white, and the right side is shaded blue. Under the Park Hours information for the current day, look for “Entertainment Schedule” in a blue hyperlink. Click on that link, and you’ll find yourself on the schedule for the current day. Now, look for the calendar icon located to the right of the date. Click on that, and select your arrival day. I went ahead and did this for you, and found the Entertainment Schedule for January 31.

Now, to find which attractions will be closed during your visit, scroll down until you see “Closed for Refurbishment” under each theme park listing. So, it looks like Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, Mark Twain Riverboat, Sailing Ship Columbia, Splash Mountain, Tarzan's Treehouse™ and "it's a small world" Holiday will be closed for refurbishment at Disneyland Park on your first day. Keep scrolling down to see the “Closed for Refurbishment” list for Disney California Adventure Park. It looks like Grizzly River Run and Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind are slated to be down that day as well. To see the schedules for the remaining days of your vacation, select the “5-Day View” at the top of the page, or simply click on the right arrow located to the right of the calendar icon to move to the next day. You can also print out these schedules if you’d like!

You’re arriving at the perfect time, Phillip, since Lunar New Year festivities begin today at the Disneyland Resort, and continue through February 13! I highly recommend spending some time at Disney California Adventure Park so you don’t miss this fun celebration. Be sure to nab a Sip and Savor Pass for The Lunar New Year Marketplaces, and don’t miss the entertaining and colorful Mulan’s New Year Procession, too!

I hope this information helps you start mapping out the magical details of your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Please stop by with any additional questions you may have, Phillip… we’re all EARs!
