We were planning on coming to the park with our kids on 11/4 but it’s showing kids full price. Are there any discounts for children? Also, I heard even with the genie there is still quiet a wait, what is your advice when visiting the park?

    Greetings, Queen Rana!

It is my honor to show you the world - shining, shimmering, splendid - of planDisney! I'm so excited you're planning a trip to The Happiest Place On Earth this weekend with your favorite Mouseketeers. You're in the right place for all the tips and tricks you need without going over, sideways, and under to find them.

I'm thrilled that you've heard about the new ticket offer coming for kids. As a reminder, these tickets are for children ages 3-9 and can be used between Jan 8, 2024-March 10, 2024. But alas, since you're planning on visiting during the holiday season, you won't be able to take advantage of this offer this time around.

And Rana, it sounds like you're also interested in unlocking the phenomenal cosmic power of Disney Genie+! Given that we're in one of the busiest and jolliest seasons of the year, you can expect longer wait times for the most popular rides. But fear not, I once helped another guest weigh the pros and cons of purchasing this service. To save those precious coins, it's best to buy Disney Genie+ at the same time that you purchase your tickets. You can also add it later at the theme park, but remember that the price can vary daily and depends on that day's availability.

As a fellow Californian who loves to hop a carpet and fly on over to the theme parks regularly, I suggest downloading the Disneyland Mobile App if you haven't already. It's a total game-changer! Getting familiar with this app ahead of your visit is a smart move. It not only shows you wait times for all of your favorite rides but lets you stay one jump ahead of the breadline by mobile ordering food and drinks and skipping those lines!

I hope this information has been as helpful as a magic carpet ride, Rana. And if you need any more help, just rub that lamp...I mean, reach out to me directly. I love to share my favorite tips for visiting the resort, and I'm on the job, you big nabob!

You ain't never had a (planDisney) friend like me,
