Hey howdy hey, Lisa! You’ve got a friend in me at planDisney, and I’d love to help you with your question.
I’m so glad to hEAR that you’re planning ahead for your October visit to the
Happiest Place on Earth! It’s always a good idea to make sure you understand the latest requirements before traveling. So, to ensure you get the latest information for your visit, I recommend checking out
this helpful page on the Disneyland Resort website since it’s continuously updated with all the latest information.
Currently, Guests aren’t required to show a negative COVID-19 test or proof of vaccination in order to enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. However, the State of California strongly recommends that all Guests are fully vaccinated or that they receive a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland Resort. So, you won’t be asked to show any test results upon entry.
Depending on the ages of your children, keep in mind that face coverings are required for unvaccinated Guests ages 2 and older in all indoor locations, including throughout indoor attractions and indoor queues. Face coverings are also required for all Guests in certain indoor settings (such as Disney shuttles and inside First Aid) regardless of vaccination status.
Lastly, the Resort is managing attendance by requiring all Guests to have a reservation for park entry in advance. So, be sure you have
a valid ticket and
a theme park reservation for the same day and same park that you want to visit. Of course, all of these details are subject to change at any time, so I recommend
checking this page again right before your visit to make sure you’re up-to-speed!
Now for making some fun, magical plans, Lisa! I can’t wait for you to experience
the return of our favorite nighttime spectaculars, including the Main Street Electrical Parade, the Disneyland Forever fireworks, World of Color, and Fantasmic!
I hope this information helps you continue planning your epic getaway! Please stop by with any additional questions… we’re all EARs!
Happy planning,
Kristin
