    Planning on coming to Disneyland the first week of December with a 2 yr old boy and 5 yr old girl. Is this a good time for less crowds and short lines (were flexible on dates still at this point?) What are some of the musts for their age group?

    Hi there Chelsea,

    You have actually chosen one of my favorite weeks to visit!  The holiday decorations will be up and the special parades and shows will be in full swing!  Here's the best part: The crowds should be lower than usual since the holiday crowds will be holding out for Christmas and the Thanksgiving crowds will be gone!  This can mean shorter queue lines and smaller crowds!  I would definitely leave those dates the same!

    You guys are gonna have a blast in all of Disneyland, but considering your children's ages, you'll want to carve out a good bit of time for Fantasyland.  Here, you'll enjoy slow moving attractions like Dumbo, Peter Pan's Flight, Snow White's Scary Adventures, Pinnocchio's Daring Journey, Casey Jr. Circus Train, The Storybook Land Canal Boats, and more!  You'll also want to take in the shows at Fantasy Faire and meet with the Disney Princesses while you're there!  Afterwards, be sure to check out the all new stage show Mickey and the Magical Map.  Your kiddos will LOVE it!

    Also, there will be fun holiday games, crafts, and music in the Jingle Jangle Jamboree area (including cookie decorating with Mrs. Claus), a special holiday-themed "A Christmas Fantasy Parade" and the amazing Believe in Holiday Wishes fireworks spectacular will light up the skies over Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle at dusk!  Be on the lookout for your favorite Disney characters as they will be decked out in their holiday finest and eager to sign autographs and pose for photos!
