We are planning on coming to Disney World in May of 2016. When can I expect prices for next spring to come out, and when will I be able to book the vacation?

    Hi Nina!

On behalf of the entire Disney Parks Moms Panel, welcome to the site!  We're so glad you stopped by with your question today.

May is a great time to visit Walt Disney World, and I'm happy to hear you're ready to get started with your planning.  I don't have any inside scoop on the exact date when 2016 rates and packages will be available online for pricing and booking, but if past years are a clue, I'd expect that we'll see those around July or early August.  I'd recommend keeping an eye on the website starting later this summer so you can get exactly the Disney Resort hotel, theme park tickets, Disney Dining Plan and Memory Maker you want reserved for your trip.  Hooray!

If you want to get started a little sooner, I do have a bit of good news for you.  You can actually book a room-only reservation at a Disney Resort hotel NOW if you'd like.  Guests can always call up to 499 days in advance (from your check-out date) to make those reservations by calling (407) W-DISNEY (934-7639).  You won't know the exact pricing yet or be able to add on any "extras" to make your reservation a package, but you will have one thing checked on your planning list - the perfect room for your magical vacation. Then, when next year's information is released, just call back to finalize the rest of your reservation details.

I hope that helps, Nina, but please write back anytime.  We'd love to hEAR from you again soon!
