Inza from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are planning on coming to DCA during the 100th anniversary. Will we be able to DAS pass World of Color? I know people start lining up early but I know my daughter who is on the spectrum won't be able to stand and wait for a long period of time.

    Howdy, Inza!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for bringing your question to us. I'm so excited for you to be at the Disneyland Resort when they kick off their Disney100 Celebration! Have you seen all the delicious treats that are featured on the Celebration Foodie Guide? I'm ready to "be their guest and put their service to the test!"

It sounds like you already have familiarity with the Disability Access Service (DAS) program at the Disneyland Resort. I was able to connect to a Cast Member at Disability Services and spoke to them on your behalf. I'm afraid they told me that there will be no DAS access to World of Color - ONE. However, I have some options for you:

    • Join the virtual queue for World of Color - ONE. The virtual queue for World of Color typically opens at noon, so be ready on the Disneyland Mobile App at that time. This would give you access to the preferred viewing area.
    • Reserve either a World of Color - ONE Dining Package or a World of Color - ONE Dessert Party package. These would also provide a voucher for a reserved spot in the preferred viewing area. At the time of this writing, these packages have not yet been released, so please check back frequently as the premiere approaches.

I'm so ready to begin the Celebration! I hope that you and your daughter also get to experience Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway too. I got to see the Disney's Hollywood Studios version last year and I'm excited that my home Park is getting one as well! It's going to be quite a year to visit the Disneyland Resort.

Inza, I know that wasn't the answer you were hoping for, but I hope that you and your daughter still get to experience World of Color - ONE. Feel free to write back to us at planDisney anytime if you have further questions. You can also reach me directly if you'd like further details. "You've got a friend in me!"

    Have a Magical Day!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
