Hi Denia!
Without knowing your specific type of Theme Park Ticket, it’s tricky to give a precise answer, but here’s some information to help guide you.
If you have a date-based
Theme Park Ticket (one that starts on a specific date), you should be able to enter the park of your choice—unless the park reaches full capacity. If you’ve added the Park Hopper option to your ticket you can also visit another theme park that same day, depending on availability.
If you have a ticket that requires a
Theme Park Reservation (such as Annual Passes or other types of non-date-based tickets), you’ll need to secure a Theme Park Reservation for
Magic Kingdom Park before entering. It’s important to know that having a dining reservation at a restaurant inside Magic Kingdom does not guarantee you Theme Park entry; you’ll still need a valid ticket and possibly a park reservation depending on ticket type.
If your ticket type is blocked out for Christmas week or if you’re unable to get a Theme Park Reservation, I recommend exploring some incredible dining options at nearby Disney Resorts Collection hotels. Here are a few to consider:
‘
Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a family favorite, and if you book a later reservation, you might even catch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the resort.
Steakhouse 71 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is just a short walk from Magic Kingdom, and during the holidays, you can see the resort’s beautiful Gingerbread display.
Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village, while not near Magic Kingdom, it’s well worth a visit for its unique African-inspired dishes and you can step outside to view the animals roaming the savannah!
If you have more specific questions about your ticket type, you can always reach out to Disney’s
Existing Ticket line, where a Cast Member can help with the finer details of your ticket and reservation options. Enjoy your magical holiday visit.
