Hey there, Lenora! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
Planning a Walt Disney World adventure for a large group takes a little bit more forethought and coordination, but there are plenty of resources to help you plan an amazing visit. I’m sure you and your church group are going to have the most magical time!
I would first suggest
calling Group Reservations if you’ll be needing 10 or more rooms for your Walt Disney World vacation. A friendly Cast Member will be able to help you navigate your Disney Resorts Collection options and help you get everyone set up at one of the All-Star Resorts (subject to availability). If you think you’ll need fewer than 10 rooms, then you can call the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line.
Dining is the next item to consider on the trip planning checklist. It can be difficult to get a table service reservation for a large group of people, so try making 2 or 3 separate reservations for similar times. Then talk with a Cast Member at the restaurant’s host stand an hour or so before your reservation to ask if they can seat your group near each other or if they can combine tables. There are no guarantees, but Cast Members will do their best to accommodate your request with advance notice.
If you’re looking to brush up on your Disney Parks knowledge, then head over to the
planDisney video library or
Disney Parks Blog. The planDisney video library has videos with panelists explaining different aspects of the Disney Parks experience or highlighting new events. The Disney Parks Blog will be your best resource for up-to-date news and information.
Lenora, I hope this information helps you start the trip planning process. Don’t hesitate to come back to planDisney if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!
Magical travels!
Matt
