We are planning a Christmas trip from Dec 24 to 31! I have heard that parks fill to capacity and only resort guests are allowed into the parks. Is this true? If I stay off property do we run the risk of not getting into the parks after lunch?

    Hi there Susan!

I too have heard that the parks often fill to capacity during the Holiday period but, I have never heard that they only limit the entrance to Walt Disney World Resort Guests. As far as I know, Disney hasn't restricted the entrance to non Resort guests except for Extra Magic Hours. During Extra Magic Hours, only guests staying at Walt Disney World Resorts are allowed to enter or remain in the park for additional park hours. That could be what you have heard and people just misconstrued it as Disney only allowing Resort guests for capacity reasons. If you want to make sure that you will be allowed into the park, whether you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort or not, then try to get there as early as possible so you won't have to worry about being left out of the festivities! I hope you have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have more questions, we are always here to help! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
