    I am planning my children's first visit to WDW for January 2012. When is the best time to book the room, character dining and the BBB (my daughter will be 4). I am alittle anxious and don't want to wait too long and everything will be booked.

    Hi Shelby!

    Now is as good of a time as ever to book!  I'm a BIG planner, so most of our trips are booked about a year out.  That way I have a firm 'deadline' so to speak for everything else.  You can book your room for next year NOW, and if any special offers come out for your vacation dates, you can always call and see if they can be applied to your existing reservation. 

    Dining experiences and the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (BBB) can be booked 180 days in advance, leaving you lots of time to fine tune and tweak your plans.  I book my airfare (which I usually do separate) about 4-6 months out from our vacation.
