Hi again, Laura!
Welcome back to planDisney.
If you have a reservation at a restaurant at any Disney Resort hotel you will always be permitted to park at the hotel, typically for around 3 hours. There may be a little leniency with the time allowed to park there but at busy times of the year (especially during the pre-Christmas season) you will need to move your car to the
EPCOT parking lot, for your day at the theme park.
There are ways around this - you could take a Lyft rideshare to your breakfast reservation, and then walk to the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT - this takes you straight into World Showcase between the France and United Kingdom pavilions. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel you can use Disney transport to return to your hotel or take another Lyft rideshare, from the front entrance of EPCOT (where you'll also find the Disney buses, and monorail station). Download the Lyft app to your phone, from where you can see all the available cars and different prices. I have found them to be reliable and relatively inexpensive.
Some of the Disney Resort hotels have the added bonus of having a
Disney Skyliner station at the hotel, namely Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort. If you are staying at one of these hotels, you have the easiest access to EPCOT. If you haven't experienced the Skyliner yet, it's a smooth, comfortable ride, high above the resort, and lots of fun - it's like a theme park ride, without being in a theme park!
If you are thinking of
Cape May Cafe for Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast, the Disney Skyliner will not only give you easy access to EPCOT but also Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club Resort, as this is within easy walking distance from the EPCOT Skyliner Station positioned just outside the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT.
I hope some of these suggestions will be useful, but if you have any further questions please come back and ask us - you can also
send me a direct question if you wish.
Sue
