I am planning on celebrating my daughter's 15 on the Disney Dream on 2012 and would like to know what does the cruise line offer besides the birthday package on their website. We will be a group of 15-20 people. Thanks in advanced :)

    Hi, Ruth!

Congratulations on planning a family cruise aboard the Disney Dream next year! I can't think of a better place to celebrate a birthday than on a Disney ship -- your daughter is going to think she's living a dream!

I have a few ideas of how you can make it extra special for the birthday girl:

    • Make a reservation for her at the Chill Spa at Senses Spa & Salon. A hot chocolate wrap or an ice cream manicure/pedicure will make her feel just as sweet as her birthday cake.
    • On your cruise reservation, note the birthday and ensure that all your reservations/staterooms are linked so that you are all on the same dining and show schedule.
    • On the night you're celebrating, remind your server and head server about the birthday girl so that she is serenaded and presented with a cake.
    • Decorate her stateroom and door with the decorations available in the shopping booklet that comes with your cruise documents.
    • Encourage family/friends to gift the birthday girl with on board credits such as photo packages, floral arrangements, spa experiences and shore excursions/port adventures.

I hope that helps you plan, and happy birthday to your princess! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
