Hello there, I am planning on buying magic key passes for my entire family. How many magic keys can I buy at once per account? Does each family member have to have their own Disneyland account? Or do they have to be bought separately? Thank you!

Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Joseph. Thanks for visiting us with your great question. It's my pleasure and honor to help you (and your family) get one step closer to becoming a Magic Key holder.

I have great news for you, Joseph. I chatted with a Cast Member who shared that you are able to purchase Magic Key passes for your entire family in your Disney account as long as they are available for purchase. Keep in mind that Magic Key pass sales are subject to limited availability and may not be available from time to time or at any given time. At this time, the only pass available for sale is the Inspire Key Pass.

Each family member does not have to have their own Disney account to be a Magic Key holder and you are able to manage everyone's passes on their behalf if you like. Keep in mind that the Magic Key pass is digital so it may be easier to have everyone manage their own pass. You can request a paper pass for a small non-refundable fee at the ticket booths. Please read the Magic Key Terms and Conditions for additional details.

These steps can be taken to link a Magic Key pass in the Disneyland app. Tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner and then tap the "Tickets and Passes" tile. Next, tap the "+" in the top right corner and then "Link Tickets & Passes." From here you can use the "Camera" option to scan the barcode or manually type in the ID Number to add the pass. You can also link passes on the site by clicking on "Link Magic Key Pass to My Profile" under the heading "Magic Key" from the top toolbar.

Now you're ready to start booking theme park reservations for some magical visits. You can check the Magic Key Calendar for availability. As Magic Key holders you have the benefit of dropping in (with a valid theme park reservation) to enjoy the magic of the Disney100 Celebration all year long. There's a helpful guide to the festivities on the home screen of the Disneyland app. And while you're there, check out the Portal for Magic Key holders. There's lots of helpful information about your discounts and exclusive offerings just for Magic Key holders.

Joseph, I hope I was able to give you the information you were looking for. If you have other questions, please don't hesitate to come back and ask us. Here's to a most magical year with your family!
