Planning on buying Disney World tickets online, not sure if I should pick will call as my delivery option or pay the extra to have the tickets mailed? Do I need a physical ticket to book fastpasses? We are not staying at a Disney Resort

    Hi Mandy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question.

Buying your Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park Tickets ahead of time is an excellent idea, because that’s the only way that you’ll be able to take advantage of the Special Offer for Canadian residents that is on right now!

I would actually recommend picking “will call” as your ticket delivery option for two reasons. First, you don’t need an actual physical ticket to make your party’s FastPass+ selections. When you purchase your tickets online, you’ll have the option to associate each ticket with the My Disney Experience account for each person in your party, which will allow you to make FastPass+ selections for them.

Second, in order to activate your tickets, you’ll need to visit either Guest Relations or a ticket booth, in any event, in order to show proof of Canadian residency (if you bought them with the special offer). This means that getting physical tickets shipped to you won’t save you any time once you reach Central Florida.

I hope my answer helps you plan a wonderful vacation for your entire family. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
