    I am planning to buy resident annual passes and am trying to decide when to purchase them. Someone told me that annual passes run from the activation date for a year, even if you buy them several months in advance. Is this true?

    Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Becoming an Annual Passholder is a great way to enjoy the four theme parks at Walt Disney World year-round!  When you purchase an Annual Pass, you will be given a voucher.  You can decide when you want to redeem or activate the voucher.  It is then active for a year from the date of activation. 

    Make sure, too, to look through all of the Perks and Benefits of being an Annual Passholder. The discounts can really add up quickly!  One of my favorite benefits is the unlimited downloads from Disney Photopass. It is so great to  have photos of our entire family in our favorite place!
