Hi! I am planning to do the build a Droid experience followed by Savi's light saber build. If I do the Droid build at 8:40 and the lightsaber at 11:05 would that be too much time in between? Would this allow sufficient time to enjoy the experience?

    Bright Suns, Sheila!

Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you have planned a Disneyland Resort trip that would make Master Yoda proud. Let's talk through your plans and make sure you have time to stop and feel the Force!

First off, well done for securing reservations for the Droid Depot and Savi's Workshop — Handbuilt Lightsabers. Both experiences are very popular, so I always recommend snagging a reservation! Typically, constructing your droid shouldn't take more than about 30-45 minutes. So you'll have some time to explore Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge before you head to scavenge parts for your own unique lightsaber! Batuu is an out-of-this-world experience, so I think you'll find plenty of things to do (with your new droid along for the ride) before you head to Savi's. Here are some of my favorite Jedi-approved activities:

    • Go Bounty Hunting! If you have a MagicBand+ you can ask around for the location of the job board so that you can get an assignment and hunt across Batuu to capture your foe and earn your credits.
    • Use Mobile Order on the Disneyland Mobile App to order a snack from Ronto Roasters. The wraps are delicious!
    • Download the Play Disney Parks App (different from the Disneyland Mobile App) to turn your phone into a Datapad to find hidden items, decrypt messages, and support the Resistance...or the First Order!
    • Learn what it's like to pilot the most famous ship in the galaxy on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.
    • Walk around Batuu and keep an eye out for Resistance members, Storm Troopers, and other favorite Star Wars characters. We often run into other infamous bounty hunters while we are working on our own missions!
After you've created your trusty droid and sophisticated Lightsaber I definitely recommend looking out for a Disney PhotoPass Photographer to help you capture some magical pictures! When you purchase Disney Genie+ (which is a great way to get on attractions like Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run at lightspeed!) that includes digital downloads of all your PhotoPass pictures that day.

You are in for an unforgettable day on Batuu, Sheila! May the Force be with you!

    Keep moving forward!
