Hi Tracy! Welcome to planDisney.
Here's how much I love the Resort Refillable Mugs at Walt Disney World Resort: my dear friend and fellow panelist Kristen N. video calls me every time she is on-property and a new mug design is out. She gets me!
Seriously, those mugs are must-haves for my family. Not only do they feature adorable designs, but they're a convenient way to enjoy your morning coffee or tea or a poolside soda. And, I use them at home for a dose of magic anytime I need it.
While there isn't an official list of restaurants that have beverage islands for refilling your mugs, I can assure you that you'll be able to do so at most resort hotel Quick-Service
dining locations and pool bars. The mugs cannot be refilled in any of the theme parks but you can throw your mugs in your backpack if you'll be visiting another resort hotel to dine or explore. On my last trip, we had breakfast at Chef Mickey's and then took the monorail to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, where I enjoyed a coffee (refilled at
Capt. Cook's) while my kiddos played in the sand. It was wonderful!
I'm happy to confirm that there is a beverage refill station at
Geyser Point Bar & Grill. The To-Go window is located just to the right of the host stand, and the beverage island is beside the pick-up windows. My husband and I both LOVED the Bison Cheeseburger at Geyser Point - I think it's the best burger I've had at Walt Disney World. At Disney's Wilderness Lodge, you'll also be able to refill your mug at
Roaring Fork.
Tracy, since you know you'll be purchasing and using Resort Refillable Mugs on your visit this April, I have a tip for you. I like to pack a small container of dish soap, along with reusable straws and a straw brush. That way, I can give the mugs a good cleaning in our hotel room. I also use resealable bags to carry clean and used straws with me - I'm not a fan of the paper straws used in the theme parks (though I love that they help the environment) so this helps me enjoy an iced coffee just the way I like it!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! We're here to help as you continue to plan and dream about your visit this April, so please come back and see us if you think of anything else. As you count down the days, be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and planning tips. They recently announced that the
Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be taking place during your visit, so get ready for one of the most gorgeous and delicious events of the year. Don't miss the Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade - cheers to a fabulous vacation!
Wishing you much magic,
Robyn
