We are planning on bringing a 1 yr old and a 3 yr old. Which resort is the best for hotel activities in case we don't want to be at the park all of the days?

    Hi Jose!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  One resort quickly comes to mind:  Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  It offers a lot of activities for guests, but most especially being able to watch the exotic animals right outside the resort.  There is also story telling and viewing the animals at night via night vision goggles.  The pool is also very nice.  It's the favorite resort (and has been for many years) of my youngest son, age 7.

After that, I don't think any resort stands out.  But if the Animal Kingdom Lodge doesn't sound nice, then I would suggest going with a Magic Kingdom monorail resort.  That's because the monorail makes it very easy to get around to the Polynesian, the Contemporary, and the Grand Floridian.  You could spend a lot of time exploring all three resorts.  From the Contemporary, you could even take a boat on Bay Lake and visit Fort Wilderness and the Wilderness Lodge.

I hope this helps!  Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and write back if you have any more questions!
