Hey Howdy Hey Sarah and welcome to planDisney fellow Buckeye!
Strollers are key for younger kids when in the parks during your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. It is so important to get one that your kids like and can get in/out of easily. I'm with you in the concern for double stroller dimensions and will be happy to give you more information on the specifics so you know which stroller will be allowed into the parks.
When it comes to double strollers, not all are created equally and not all are allowed in the parks. When considering a stroller
Disney Park rules state strollers have to be at or smaller than 31 inches in width and 52 inches in length. The stroller we have used in the past when our two older ones needed a double stroller was the City Mini double stroller and we had no issues throughout our park experience.
One other tip I have for you with kids in the parks is to take full advantage of midday breaks! If your kids do tend to wake up early, being the the parks for a full day is a lot of walking and stimulation that is hard to replicate on an average basis. We have always found time midday to either leave the parks and swim or take a nap at the resort before hitting the parks for the evening. This can help cut down on meltdowns and make your trip so much more enjoyable!
I hope this information was helpful so you can better plan for your upcoming vacation. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
