I am planning on bringing my daughter for a mom/daughter trip the first week of November. What rides will be closed for the holiday overlay? We're hoping to be able to ride It's A Small World.

    Hiya, Michelle!

Great idea to plan in advance for your trip to the Disneyland Resort. It's great to set expectations and make plans for maximizing the magic during your special visit.

You can take a look at the daily Hours and Events Calendar to get a sneak peek at what may be just around the river bend. Use the "Change Date" option to advance the calendar view to the latest available date. At the bottom of the section for each of the theme parks, you can open the list of attractions scheduled to be closed for refurbishment that day. Hours, available attractions, scheduled entertainment, and other offerings of the Disneyland Resort are subject to change. And the official calendar only goes out for several weeks. In just a couple more weeks from now, you should be able to see the expected schedule for the dates of your trip.

With the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort scheduled to officially kick off on November 14, 2025, there's a lot to get ready. At the beginning of November, I would expect "it's a small world" to possibly be closed as it transforms into "It's a small world" Holiday. Attractions such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Casey Jr. Circus Train recently closed for major refurbishments that may also last beyond that first week of November. Again, such things are subject to change. So it's best to watch the Hours and Events Calendar over the next several weeks to get the most updated information available.

A while back, I took each of my daughters on separate road trips to the Disneyland Resort. We called them "Daddy/Daughter Days at Disneyland." Those are some of my most cherished memories with my dear daughters. It was such a joy to let them choose what we would do, where we would eat, and when we would do it all. I'm certain you and your daughter will have a most magical time too!

    M-I-C-YA Real Soon, Michelle!
