I was planning on bring towels to use on the DIsney cruise, but my husband said that we shouldn't bring them. Does the cruise have beach size towels for the guests to use? Are the amenities the same as a hotel (i.e hair dryer, soap, shampoo)? Thanks!

I do not pack beach towels, especially now with the increased airline luggage fees. Towels are provided by the pools as well as when you disembark the ship at Castaway Cay. Prior to any shore excursions that may involve swimming, you’ll receive a towel when you check in at the designated meeting place.

While these towels aren’t as fluffy and large as beach towels, they are perfectly adequate for at the pool and beach. While these towels are bath size, guests receive a clean, dry towel at the pool and prior to excursions.  I prefer receiving a clean towel rather than having to hang up our towels to dry.

While there are hair dryers, I actually bring my own travel size dryer as I need more heat and power to dry my thick hair. I also like to sit out at the desk/mirror to do my  hair and makeup.

For toiletries, your stateroom will have H2O Plus premium spa products, including 2.7 fluid oz. bottles of:
    Hydrating body butter
    Sea marine revitalizing shampoo
    Marine collagen conditioner
    Solar Relief Gel
    Sea Salt Body Wash
    plus
    Facial bar soap
    Bath soap bar

These amenities are derived from marine botanicals giving each guest a touch of the sea.

Toiletries are not usually replenished automatically. If you need more, just leave a note for your Stateroom Host! I wish I could leave a note now as I just ran out of the splendid body butter from my last cruise! See h20plus.com and then put "Disney" in the search field for pictures of the products.
