We're planning to bring grandkids(2) and their parents to DW next June. Is the dining plan really worth it for small children (6 and 3)? Would we be better off taking our chances with reservations once we arrive?

    Shirley!

I love the Dining Plan. It is so fun to me to have already paid for your meal. Then you just focus on the food!

But is it worth it for your 6 and 3 year old? Maybe. If they are big eaters and you guys want to eat at a lot of different restaurants, then I say yes. If they can survive on a carrot stick and a lick of a cheerio, then it might be better to just pay as you go so you could split meals between the two of them.

Now about reservations--YES! You need reservations! Especially if you are trying to get a character meal or some other popular restaurant, they book up so early.

Reservations and the Dining Plan are not connected, so you can still make reservations any time by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

    Have a magical vacation!
