If planning to bring a back back cooler to the parks would we be okay if the width is slightly larger by an inch or two? We do not plan on using lockers.

Hi Michael, and welcome to planDisney!

I see that a Walt Disney World Resort visit may be in your future? If so, I know that the excitement is building day by day; I know my excitement builds the closer I get to my next vacation!

Having access to a backpack and cooler can undoubtedly come in handy, especially if there are specific snacks and quick drinks you would like to partake in. While you can bring a backpack cooler into the theme parks, a bag can be no "larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm)" and anything larger than what is noted is not allowed in any theme park or water park per the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules. I recommend staying within those guidelines to be safe. I know that more popular brands tend to have backpack coolers that fit within the guidelines, and I have had my personal experience with the Igloo brand when my children were younger. I hope this helps.

Please return should you have additional questions; we are here if you need us.

    Have a magical time!
