If we're planning a breakfast character dining experience outside of Magic Kingdom, should we still plan to visit the park that day or wait for another day to get an earlier start in the park?

    Michell!

    This is a good question!

If you have a breakfast at a resort you certainly won't miss out on a park! Just because you aren't there at rope drop doesn't mean your whole day is shot. (Although rope drop is pretty fun!)

However, if you DO have down days--days you are NOT going to a park, those are DEFINITELY the days to do a fun resort-character meal. When we went on our last vacation we planned one day at the parks--then the next day away from the park (biking, pool, mini golf, etc.) AND a resort meal. It was SO nice and relaxing.

So, if you can do a resort meal on a day you aren't going to the park--do it! But do not worry for a second that you'll be missing out! Just hop right on the monorail or bus and get to the park as soon as breakfast is over!
