We are planning on booking the World of Color Dining Package at Wine Country Trattoria in July. Since I have little ones, we want to see the earlier parade. What time should I book our dinner by in order to ensure that we see the earlier show?

    Hello Carrie!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a magical week.

I have to say, Wine Country Trattoria is one of my favorite places to dine at Disney’s California Adventure Park! My boys love the World of Color Dining package as well, and the menu satisfies everyone’s cravings!

I would definitely make your dining reservation prior to your arrival at the parks. For the earlier showing, I’ve dined there at multiple different times and almost always get the earlier showing. The FASTPASS tickets passed out with the World of Color Dining package do come on a first come, first served basis, so once the earlier show’s passes have been given out, then they will pass out the later show times. Typically, when my kids were younger, we would dine between 5-6pm just because by then they were in need of a break.

If you get there early enough, you can also catch the Pixar Play Parade, which typically starts just after 5pm. Ask your hostess if you can sit outside along the wall and you can sometimes see the parade right from your table!

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
