Hi there Lee! Thanks for bringing your great question to us!
Planning a trip as special as visiting the Disneyland Resort can be overwhelming at times, you've come to the right place to hopefully ease some of the stress! The
Australian Disneyland site does recommend that you work with a local travel agent to help plan your trip, it sounds like you're off to a great start! I'm sure a local travel agent will be such a great resource for all of the tips and tricks to ensure a smooth visit for you and your family.
I'm sure they'll also be able to run through all of the various options you'll have for your
theme park tickets, including adding
Lightning Lane Multi Pass to your tickets! Purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass can help save valuable time in the theme parks with access to Lightning Lane Entrances and shorter wait times. If you're able to pre-purchase the service, you will not be able to book Lightning Lane selections until you scan your theme park ticket to enter either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park.
Prior to your trip, I'd familiarize yourself with the list of
attractions in both theme parks, and make a list of the top 3-5 attractions that you know you'll want to experience during your visit. I would then prioritize those during your visits, whether that's securing a Lightning Lane selection for those attractions if available, or making it the first stop during your theme park days. We always like to get to the parks at least 30 minutes before they're scheduled to open so we can take advantage of those first few hours when the parks are usually less crowded.
I'm sending you all of the pixie dust that you're able to book your trip soon, Lee! Please do not hesitate to
come back and ask me any other questions for your trip. I'm here to help!
Have a magical day,
Melissa
