Hiya Carmyn and welcome to planDisney!
There's no place in the world that embraces the magic of Christmas quite like the Walt Disney World Resort. I'll be back during the holiday season myself and I can just smell the giant gingerbread house in
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa right now. And being there with someone special is going to add some extra special good cheer to the occasion. If you want to know where to stay that won't require Scrooge McDuck's vault full of gold, I'm happy to share with you what I know.
Disney Resorts Collection hotels offer something for budgets across the board and I've called at least one in each of the three tiers my home away from home at some point. If you're looking for a
Value Resort Hotel, consider
Disney's Pop Century Resort. It's my personal favorite in this tier and there are a few reasons why I can't see it ever leaving that top spot.
1. It has access to the
Disney Skyliner. You can take this magical mode of Disney Transportation to both Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. On the way to the latter, you pass by Disney's Riviera Resort which looks even more elegant at Christmastime.
2. The Disney Skyliner drops you off at EPCOT's International Gateway which puts you in the perfect spot to walk over to several Disney Deluxe Resorts to explore. Especially
Disney's Beach Club Resort. Last year I got to see the life-sized The Little Mermaid-themed gingerbread carousel and it was absolutely stunning.
Carmyn, I hope Christmas at The Most Magical Place on Earth is as wonderful for you as it was for me. If you have any other questions please feel free to
come back for another chat!Happy holidays and happier planning!
