We are planning on booking a trip for the end of the 2022. My Daughter will turn 3 the last 2 days of our trip am I right in thinking we don't need to get a ticket for her? Do we need to bring any proof as she is well above average in height?

    Greetings Laura,

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. I am so excited to hear that you are planning to celebrate your Mouseketeer’s birthday during the World’s Most Magical Celebration. You will have an amazing time with so much to celebrate during your visit. Be sure to visit Guest Relations at any theme park entrance or City Hall in the Magic Kingdom to get a birthday celebration button. I would also suggest that you include a Memory Maker in your budget. You will not want to miss one magical moment of this experience. Disney PhotoPass photographers will capture those special moments with you and your family in front of the most iconic landmarks in the world.

Since your Mouseketeer will be 2 when your magical vacation begins, she will be considered to be a Special Guest of Mickey Mouse for the duration of your trip and will not require a ticket or park pass reservation. You will still want to include her in your reservation at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and on all advanced dining reservations, for seating purposes. You will not need to show proof of age, we allow our guests to operate on the honor system.

While you are planning your list of must-do’s for your Mouseketeer, I suggest that you check out the “Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones” guide. It will give you a lot of ideas for navigating the Walt Disney World Resort with your preschooler.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again here at planDisney.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
