We're planning on booking a room at Port Orleans French Quarter in early June. We've stayed there several times but the rate I see now is much higher than before. Is there a way to find a better rate? (certain time or booking method?) thx

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mike!  I’ve stayed at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter with my family and I just adore the quiet NOLA street theming. It’s a peaceful resort to renew yourself from busy park days.

When you’re booking your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room, be sure to check the Special Offers page, and check it often. Many times, specials are released at various times during the day, such as Annual Passholder rates, Seasonal Offers and more. If you have already booked your hotel (and some Resorts do sell out!) you can always have your confirmation number handy and reach a Cast Member at (407) WDW-1936 to lock in the new and lowered rate while it is offered. June can be a busy time for Walt Disney World Resort, as many Northern Hemisphere guests are on summer vacation and are ready for some magic! You may also be able to check with a Disney-authorized vacation planner (I work with Travelmation, personally) to see if they are aware of any discounts you may not be able to find on your own. Plus, travel agents, as well as Cast Members are free to work with as you book your vacation.

If I can answer any more questions about your magical vacation, please let me know. I’m hEAR for you! ~ Lindsey P.
