I am planning on booking the Princess breakfast in March. Do I need a California Adventure Park reservation for that day or can I have a Disneyland Park reservation for that day?

Hi Jim! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

My family has been fortunate enough to dine with the Princesses at the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventure. We found the meal to be exquisite and the interaction with the Characters to be magical. I hope you're able to secure your dining reservation to enjoy this special experience too. From kids to teens to adults, we all had the best time. But it's a popular location, so set a reminder to book on your mobile device: Reservations typically open 60 days in advance, although individual locations may vary.

I have good news for you! You can make your theme park reservation for the day at either park, depending on availability, which can change. This particular dining experience doesn't take place in the parks. It's located in the beautifully themed Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Dining in the hotels and Downton Disney District doesn't require admission tickets or theme park reservations. So, you don't need to plan your day around the dining reservation with the Princesses, except for planning enough time to enjoy the meal.

Either park is going to be magical, but if your group really loves princesses, you might consider Disneyland Park the place to be. Did you know you can locate Character in the Disneyland mobile app? It's a great tool for your park day. Download it ahead of your visit and play around with it to figure out all the features you'll want to be familiar with before you walk through those gates.

    Have a magical day!
