We are planning on booking the Paint the Night Dining Package at Blue Bayou in July. Since I have little ones, we want to see the earlier parade. What time should I book our dinner by in order to ensure that we see the earlier show?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Carrie. Thanks for stopping by with yet another question for us.

My children have a blast dining at the Blue Bayou Restaurant. They think it is so neat to be dining inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction! Because the reserved viewing vouchers for dining packages are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis, I'd recommend booking an early dinner to ensure you'll be enjoying the first show.

Even though my children are older, sometimes I find many perks with dining early. There are usually smaller crowds at dining establishments, and less hustle and bustle around us while we dine. Moreover, it gives us an excuse to have a late-night funnel cake at the Stage Door Cafe in Disneyland Park.

If you have further questions, Cast Members at Disney Dining will be glad to assist you. They can be reached at (714) 781-DINE.

I hope this information is helpful for you as you continue planning your upcoming July trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, Carrie. Please visit us on the Panel again.

    Have a magical day,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
