We were planning on booking a good neighbor hotel package for 7 nights. However we would like to have a place to relax periodically without walking all the way back to our hotel? Can we rent a pool cabana? If so approx$ if not what’s another solution?

Hiya, Kyle! Welcome back to planDisney. Thank you for visiting us again.

I can definitely relate to your question! It is paramount to have places where one can relax throughout the day while visiting the Disneyland Resort Theme Parks. Below are a few of my recommendations.

Disneyland Park

Hop aboard the Disneyland Railroad and enjoy a Grand Circle Tour. There are four stations around the park, my favorite is on Main Street, U.S.A.
Also on Main Street, U.S.A. is The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. There are several Disney artifacts in the building to behold.
Interested in having a snack and watching a show? Look no further than Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. Grab a Dole Whip from the neighboring Tiki Juice Bar and head on in.
Take a ride on a raft to Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island. There are plenty of quiet nooks.

Disney California Adventure Park

Feeling creative? The Disney Animation Building located in Hollywood Land offers a variety of experiences, but my favorite is the Animation Academy where you can draw Disney characters.
Behind Grizzly River Run in Grizzly Peak is a quiet walking trail with plenty of benches to take a load off. Honorable mention: Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is excellent if you have younger ones in your party.
Flo's V8 Cafe in Cars Land has a fantastic outdoor patio with plenty of seating that overlooks Radiator Springs Racers. Order the Flo's Classic Shake and watch the racers go by!
Near Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! and Studio Catering Co. is another great sitting area.

And while only registered hotel guests can rent Poolside Cabanas, you can certainly visit the Disneyland Resort Hotels. The lobby of Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is magnificent and very cozy. I also highly recommend dining at GCH Craftsman Bar--try the Baked Nachos! And did you know that you can easily get to the Disneyland Hotel via the monorail station in Tomorrowland? I love the Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill any time of day. It is so relaxing. Mobile Order is also available!
