Ahoy there, Pamela! Welcome to planDisney.
Thanks so much for taking the time to sail by planDisney with your question for us. I’m excited to see you’re planning to sail on a Disney cruise with your family in 2026. When it comes to planning a cruise, there are so many options to choose from. Unfortunately, because of various choices available, it is tough to give you an average cost per person.
I see you’re interested in a sailing in early May 2026 departing from Fort Lauderdale or New York. I filtered the search options on
Disney Cruise Line website’s
Find a Cruise page (unfortunately, there is no itinerary leaving from New York during that time). Disney Destiny will be sailing out of Fort Lauderdale on 4- and 5-nights during the timeframe you’re planning a cruise.
Numerous factors can affect the price per person of your cruise. Most
staterooms can accommodate up to 4 or 5 guests. The price for the third, fourth, and fifth guests are considerably lower per person than the first 2 guests. Where your stateroom is located will also affect the cost. Midship tends to be a popular stateroom location, and these prices tend to run higher. Staterooms also range from inside, oceanview and verandah, each with its benefits, also have different price points. For an extra touch of luxury, you can also splurge on
concierge level staterooms that come with premium amenities and exclusive services.
As you can see, Pamela, there are so many choices to decide but planning a magical Disney cruise can be fun! Perhaps gather your family members and check out
Disney Destiny to see all the great things this new ship has to offer. It’s a great way to get everyone excited and ponder which stateroom category best suits your family’s needs. I understand all these options can be overwhelming. But please know we’re here to assist! As you continue to plan your Disney cruise, feel free to stop by
planDisney again if you have more questions.
Hope to SEA ya real soon,
Kiki
