I am planning to book a WDW vacation for me and my three kids July 26-Aug 8 2014 and have been watching for specials. Typically I see free meal plans or a discount on the hotel. How far in advance do these come out or is that time period too high volume?

    Hi Jason!

The discounts and promotions are great, when you can get them!  They're usually announced several months ahead of time.  Some of the current promotions are available through the first part of June.  If you're looking at a late July/early August vacation, I'd keep my eyes out for promotions in the spring.  This doesn't guarantee that there will be any, but keep your eyes glued to the Walt Disney World Special Offers page.   This page will list offers currently available.

Also remember, that you can book now and have a promotion applied at a later day, assuming there is availability.

    Have a magical vacation!
