We are planning to book a WDW trip to celebrate our honeymoon and my 13yo sons birthday. Can he still get a birthday pin if we plan to be there the week of his birthday but not the actual day? Any suggestions on special ideas for him and my future husband?

    Hi, Laura!

There is no limit to how much Mickey will celebrate with you!  Your son is certainly welcome to get a Happy Birthday button while you and your Prince Charming can get your Just Married buttons!  The more celebrating the better, right?

If you are making any Advance Dining Reservations, make sure to include your celebration(s) on your reservation, as often times your server will make things festive by bringing out a special dessert or treat for the occasion.  You can also order a cake at most table service locations.  Just ask a cast member at the podium for pricing and let them know to deliver it after your meal.

If you are looking for a special delivery to your resort room, you can inquire at for a special basket of goodies or an in-room celebration.  You can make things festive on your own by bringing decorations or signs to decorate your door or room.

In lieu of a traditional autograph book, you might want to bring greeting cards (birthday cards/wedding cards) for the characters to sign as a great keepsake.  Or, bring a large mat for a picture frame, and have the characters sign that.  You can then have a special photo of the 3 of you developed for the mat.  Frame it and you will have such a lovely souvenir!

Wishing you and your family a memorable vacation and the perfect "happily ever after."
