Hi! Planning to book the 4 night/Bahamas cruise on 1/13/13 on the Dream ship. Wondering what the weather should be like and if my kids (9 & 18M) will be able to enjoy the pool at all. Also I heard there are fireworks. When do these take place? Thank yo

    Hi Jennifer!

Oh my gosh!  The Disney Dream is a gorgeous'll love it!  The pools on the ship are heated if the water temperature falls under 75 degrees.  If they are wearing swim diapers, they should not be using the pool for health reasons.  That is why the cruise line provides fantastic splash areas for the little ones to have a ball while they're getting wet!  The weather should be sunny, but it may be too windy/chilly for the kids, although my kids never seem to feel the cold.  I really think that they will be able to enjoy the splash zones and the beach at Castaway Cay.

Disney Cruise Line is the only cruise line that is allowed to have fireworks displays.  Those gorgeous fireworks only happen during Pirate Night onboard, so make sure that when you're booking your trip you ask your DCL travel representative whether or not your itinerary includes a Pirate Night.

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if I can answer anything else for you. Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel Jennifer!
